Advanced Nitrox Diver Course

Course Logo

This course examines the use of air, EAN22-99 and oxygen for optimal mixtures to depths not in excess of 130 fsw. The objective of this course is to train divers in the benefits, hazards and proper procedures for utilizing air, EAN22-99 and oxygen for dives not requiring staged decompression.

  • Dive gear must be suitable to the environment in which the course is taught — i.e. open water or overhead. At a minimum, you must provide a single gas nitrox computer, backup tables and a tank and regulator properly cleaned and labeled as required for the EANx mixtures utilized.
  • This course requires two days, four dives within no-decompression limits. Curriculum consists of class sessions, demonstration of gas mixing procedures, dive planning using appropriate gas mixtures for the depth planned and dive execution.

The Advanced Nitrox Diver course may be combined with Nitrox Diver or any level of overhead training.

Prerequisites: Certification as Nitrox Diver and a minimum of 25 logged dives in the environment in which the course is presented.

Certification Available: TDI.
