Visual Inspection Procedures Course

Tank Inspection

This course promotes safety in the care and maintenance of high-pressure scuba cylinders. The objective of this course is to provide training of inspectors in the proper handling, filling and inspection techniques of scuba cylinders, including the identification of the various defective conditions which could result in cylinder failure.

  • Each student should provide a scuba cylinder, with valve, for use during the course.
  • This course requires approximately five hours to complete. Curriculum consists of class sessions and hands-on visual inspection of scuba cylinders.

Prerequisites

  • Minimum Age: 18.
  • Affiliation with a business or organization that has a high pressure air compressor and fill station.

Certification Available: TDI.
