Training and Experience
Does this describe you?
Certification to at least the Rescue Diver level: A significant number of students who participate successfully in Cave Diver training are divemasters or instructors, or have comparable leadership-level training. Understand that none of the training for these levels of certification is necessarily relevant to cave diving; it is simply that those students who successfully complete Cave Diver courses typically have this level of commitment to diving.
Nitrox Diver certification: Although not an absolute requirement, Nitrox Diver training and certification is extremely helpful — and essential if one plans to dive north-central Florida’s caves.
Career Total: Successful Cave Diver course participants typically have made and logged at least 100 scuba dives over the past 48 months.
Recent Experience: Additionally, successful students typically have made at least 10 to 12 dives in the six months prior to the course.
